What began as an intention to shape the space soon shifted toward the table as the primary driver of experience. Designed as a pop-up food festival for three days, the intervention occupies a newly renovated hall within an old seaside complex, where the lingering scent of the sea and moss-covered ruins evoke a quiet, almost inherited nostalgia. Drawing from Chef Doma’s childhood in a noodle factory, bamboo and rattan strips emerge as a living system, flowing from walls and ceiling to form a meandering table that wraps around and fuses with the columns. These translucent layers filter light into soft, dappled patterns, creating a tactile, rhythmic atmosphere—cozy, informal, warm, and playfully chaotic, like strands of noodles in motion.
