Ziro Music Festival,
Arunachal Pradesh ‘22 & ‘23
Set in the serene valley of Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, this bamboo-built project was designed for one of the region’s iconic music festivals. Celebrating music, nature, and community, the stages and pavilions harmonized with the landscape while honoring local materials and craftsmanship. Created through on-site collaboration between architects, local artisans, and workers, the process became an exchange of tradition and contemporary design. The resulting spaces offered more than performance areas—they became immersive experiences, connecting people to place and sound. This project is a tribute to context-driven architecture and the transformative power of collective creativity in shaping meaningful cultural environments.
